Hiya Ian! Glad the video was helpful, and thanks for the question. There is no way that I know of to discover/download subscribers' email addresses in bulk. If any RUclips account publicly subscribes to your channel (you can see a list in the RUclips Studio), you can visit their channel/about page and click the "View Email Address" button, but I've never done it. You might want to read up on RUclips T&Cs before using account emails for marketing. Most folks ask viewers to subscribe to their email list via a link in the comments and description (i.e., fill out an email opt-in form).

It could work, but the potential to marking the email as spam is pretty great, which would effect your reputation and may get the attention of Mailchimp's Omnivore system - mailchimp.com/help/about-omnivore/. Personally, I wouldn't take the risk. Instead, you could simply email them outside of Mailchimp using your personal or business email address and have the same affect without the risk. I'd let them know you got their email address from their channel as well.

​@LarrySnow if I export a list of event attendees from Salesforce, I assume when I load into mailchimp, I can assign a tag (i.e., 2024 trivia night). When I load the next list to the same audience, I assume I follow the same process with a different tag. If there is the same individual in each list because they came to both events does their record appear with both tags?

By default the inline message "Thanks for subscribing" should appear for the embedded form. To return to the default inline message simply remove the thank you page URL under Form Builder -> Forms and Responses -> Confirmation thank you page.

if you're looking for cheaper or free - try Mailerlite or ConvertKit (Soon to be Kit) which now has up to 10K sub list for free with requirements.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your question, if you have WordPress, the process to create the popup form for visitors to subscribe to your email list is shown in this video. The sales funnel (i.e., automation) part of the process begins at the 8:15 mark in this video.

That could happen for several reasons. One main reason is that the subscriber is already on the list. Another big reason is that you have double opt-in turned on, so subscribers won't be added unless they confirm their email address.

Hi there! If you sent the email to everyone in your audience, you may not need the "Was sent" the specific campaign filter. Also, depending on how soon you applied the filter after the email was sent, the segment number may be different. I would verify that the email interaction filters are set to contacts who did not open the email campaign AND was sent the email campaign. The thank you page is an option within the sign up form builder, "Forms and Responses" drop down list, called "Confirmation Thank You Page." If you don't have a URL in that field, then a subscriber should see the "Thanks for subscribing" message instead.

Hey there! Thanks for the question. It only works for embedded forms and Mailchimp landing pages. The pop up form submitters only see the "Success" message at the end. You'll have to rely on the first email to popup form contacts to give them the "thank you" page details. You segment them by sign up source.

@@LarrySnow Thank you so much Larry for clearing thinks up! My intention was to capture emails and at the same time measure my google ads conversions through my own "thank you page". I thought going with a pop up form would be easier than messing with my site's layout by embedding forms.

Hi Michele 👋, thanks for the question. One Customer Journey can do all that for you. The starting trigger is the tag associated with the Mailchimp landing page; the initial email is a brief welcome/intro to the free course with the PDF guide for contacts to download; from there, you can add the subsequent emails for the daily lessons and a 1-day delay between each email. At the end of the Journey/Free Course, you may want to add a tag based on engagement (opens, clicks) using the if/then option to have contacts enter another Journey - perhaps toward a course purchase. If you're speaking about how Gmail "attaches" a RUclips video at the end of the email, then no, I don't believe there is a way to prevent that from happening when sending emails with RUclips video links (Google likes Google 😉). There may be a setting in Gmail for the user/receiver of the email to turn that feature off.

This is not the case with this type of survey/poll, as shown in the video, but with the upgraded stand-alone survey feature, as shown here: ruclips.net/video/jAyzAsuFXxs/видео.html. Then, you should be able to create a regular segment of your audience that was sent the link to the survey in an email, opened the email, but did not click a link in the email. In fact, I believe one of the options in the regular segment menu choice is Poll or Survey activity, which would be even easier to segment.

Were they already on your email list? The welcome email is only sent to new subscribers.
